Gradually, SSD producers convinced public that SSD is not inferior in their longevity to classical hard disks , in this case their speed is much higher.
Associate tested Intel SSD (model X25- M on base of MLC memory) and figured that with time these SSD lose speed due to internal fragmentation. Second-hand SSD in certain cases occurs substantially slower than new working in analogous conditions. As reports associate, Intel specialists could not reproduce analogous results in their laboratory. Intel accused the reviewers about the use of synthetic tests, which do not reflect the actual conditions for SSD work.
