We already reported that Intel will retain the release of 32 nm four core processors with nehalem architecture , after proposing to users in the desktop segment only two- and six-core processors, produced on 32 nm technology. Four cores on 32 nm technical process will be combined only within the framework of next generation architecture , known to us under the code designation sandy bridge.
Associate with the reference to a source among computers producers confirmed that Intel is assembled to present 32 nm processors with sandy bridge architecture in the fourth quarter 2010. To those times 32 nm processors westmere generation will be sold with 45 nm processors nehalem generation. Dual core mobile (Arrandale) and desktop (Clarkdale) processors will be presented in the first quarter 2010, and the six-core processors gulftown will appear later . The cost of gulftown processors will reach $1499 . Let us recall that gulftown processors will work in the existing motherboard on base of Intel x58 chipset after bios updates.
