It is completely natural to compare video card radeon HD 2600 XT with its probable competitor GeForce 8600 GTS on base 80 nm of g84 chip . The chip RV630 is produced on 65 nm technical process.
We start from video card radeon HD 2600 XT witch possesses larger printed-circuit board and cooler than the GeForce 8600 GTS .

We hope that this advantage will reduce the prices of GeForce 8600 GTS - now the price of these video card does not correspond to their performance level .
In summer NVIDIA prepare plan to the transfer the video chip from average price range on 65 nm technical process, and then advantage at the production cost can pass to NVIDIA.
