Asustek Computer Chapter reports that the company this year will not be able to sell the planned number of motherboards. Previously, the company expected that to sale 25 million device, and now it will be at best satisfied with 22.2 million . This is a million fewer than were sold in 2011. In the current quarter, Asus hopes to implement a 5.5 million motherboards - 5% less than in the previous quarter.
Demand in the U.S. and Europe is falling, and the pace of growth sales in China slowed.
ASRock will sell no more than 7 million instead of the planned 9 million , in the market will remain only three major players. Their names are known: Asustek, Gigabyte and MSI.
