Hipro published on xtremeSystems pages a new overclock try using new intel 45nm processor. The motherboard used is asus P5E 3- wS-Pro on base of chipset intel x38 and as processor cooler we have tuniq tower 120 and with productive fan delta . The room air temperature was 21 degree Celsiuses.

After increasing the processor vcore to 1.55 into, hipro could run the test superPI 1M at 4725 MHz frequency with 9,797 seconds result . At the frequency 4620 MHz the processor passed 3DMark'06 test , and with 1.356 v the processor was overclocked to 4374 MHz, in this case the motherboard showed core temperature equal to 37 degree Celsius.

After using the motherboard asus blitz extreme (Intel p35) with cascade cooling system , Greek record holder was able to overclock the processor up to 5.8 GHz at - 104 degree Celsius, at this frequency superPI 1M test was executed in 7,774 seconds. The 3DMark'06 test was executed at the frequency 5.6 GHz without any problems.

Focus attention, that the processor is based on new stepping 6.
