According to Digitimes Research, in the third quarter of 2016, China's smartphone shipments reached 112.3 million units, up 5.2% compared to the previous quarter and by 5.8% more compared to the same period last year. 17.1 million of them were delivered to international manufacturers of smartphones, accounting for 15.2% of the total supply volume. The share of international brands in the Chinese smartphone market last quarter decreased by 2.8% compared to the second quarter 2016 and by 36.7% compared to last year.

According to forecasts of Digitimes Research, in the fourth quarter 2016 shipments of smart phones in China will be about 118.4 million units. 95.9 million will be issued by Chinese companies.
