On ASUS site appeared information about the thin notebook ASUS u36. The computer obtained display size 13,3 inches and 1366 X 768 pixel. According to the producer, this is the first notebook with 19 mm thickness, in which are used usual processors, but not version with the lowered energy consumption and productivity.
The computer is based on the processor intel core i5 480M (2,66 GHz, in the regime turbo boost , up to 2,93 GHz), 460M (2,53 and 2,8 GHz), Intel core i3 390M or 380M (2,53 GHz). Due to the support to NVIDIA optimus technology , user can select between the graphic core, integrated in the processor, and discrete GPU NVIDIA GeForce 310M, equipped with 1 GB DDR3 memory. The DDR 3-1066 volume can reach 4 GB, and the possible hard disk volume versions include 250, 320, 500, 640 and 750 GB.
It is worthwhile to mention the presence of USB 3.0 ports, card reader 5 in -1, web- camera 0,3 Mp, adapters 802.11 b/g/n or 802.11b/g and Bluetooth V2.1+EDR (option). The overall sizes Of u36 are 322 x 232 x 19 mm, and its mass is equal to 1,4 kg (with 4 cell battery) or 1,6 kg (with 8 cell battery).
