In next year , Intel plans to update the line of high performance processors for itanium servers . The new processor, known under code name tukwila, will have four cores on one crystal . The appearance Of tukwila is expected at the end of 2008. According to Intel, the future versions itanium will be produced in 32 nm standards . This twice exceeds today's intel reaching in the technology region ( 65- nm standard ) . The release date of 32- nm processor, known under the code name poulson is planned in 2009. Poulson will pass to a completely new base design, which use a considerably larger core number . | ||
