Associate published three news dedicated to the hybrid processors AMD and related developments.  First, according to the company's vice president Lisa Su (Lisa Su), the supply of desktop processors Kaveri will begin in the current quarter, but they will be available from 14th January 2014.  Common practice for the processors announcement, and not only for AMD production  ; this is not a delay relative to the original plans of the company.  Lisa Su demonstrated  sample based notebook Kaveri, but explained that the mobile segment, these processors will appear in the first half of 2014.  By the way, in the comparable period Kaveri will appear in the server segment. The high end desktop line Kaveri promises to be A10-7850K processor with a frequency of 3.7 GHz and a graphics system Radeon R7 generation GCN 1.1, has 512 stream processors and a frequency of 720 MHz.  This combination of features provides the processor speed at 856 gigaflops.  The processor will combine four processing cores with the architecture Steamroller and the graphics system will support Mantle and TrueAudio. In addition, the processors will support the concept of Kaveri HUMA (HSA), which allows the graphical and computational cores to share memory.  Since the beginning of 2014 AMD will be giving away developers system that support HSA - perhaps it will be just computers based on  Kaveri processors.   AMD also recognizes that since the first hybrid processors in 2011, the company sold them in quantities of more than 100 million pieces.  By the end of 2014 will be selling more than 150 million of hybrid processors, and at least a third of them will be found  in personal computers.   Related Products :
