Processor Xeon E5-2602 v4 will be made on 14-nm process technology, the memory controller will receive DDR4, and each will receive its core 256 KB cache in the second level and the third level of 2.5 MB. Heat will be 165 watts. The processor is compatible with motherboards with processor socket LGA 2011-3.
The processor will be distributed only in OEM-channels. However, some rumors claimed that the new product are all developed specifically for the needs of the US National Security Agency, so it is possible the chip does not appear on the market.
