Intel company reported on exhibition ceBIT that it will begin soon the deliveries of its low-voltage processors intel xeon DP (Harpertown). 32- nm processors, developed using sandy bridge architecture will be known under the code designation westmere. In a pair of weeks will appear the 4- core, 45- nm processors harpertown, which will be released with 50- W TDP . Such processors will be installed in the two-socket system for servers and consume ~35% less energy than previous generation.
