Steam published the results of statistics collection about the hardware of computer users of the service.
First, running Windows 10 continues to operate nearly half of all computer users Steam. Second, Windows 7 keeps courageously and keeps under its control third (combined share of 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 by the end of November of 34.22%) Steam user computers.
Slowing growth in the share of Windows 10 can be explained by two reasons. First, the move to this operating system is no longer a free (and very few people want to pay). Second, the main advantage of Windows 10 to Windows 7 - the presence of DirectX 12 - at the moment is not so much because of any impressive difference in gaming performance between DirectX 12 and older versions.
In the segment of non-Orthodox operating systems are still stagnating: OS X hangs out at about 3.5%, while Linux takes the sad persistence - its share among all Steam users are also less than one percent. Related Products :
