Materials with high dielectric value constant (high- k) and transistors with the metallic lock are used by two microcircuits producers : Intel company uses such technology within the 45 nm technology, and IBM is ready to inject them in 32 nm technical process. IBM Company is AMD technological donor . Chipsets and video chips AMD are released by TSMC.
TSMC representatives shared this week their plans with respect to the use of high- k dielectrics and transistors with metallic lock . TSMC plans to inject these update in high speed microcircuits on 32 nm technology. Thus, video chips and chipsets , NVIDIA AMD will acquire high- k dielectrics and transistors with the metallic lock after passage on 32 technical process. According to some data, TSMC will start the release of 32 nm product only in the fourth quarter 2009 using low end microcircuits . More complex microcircuits like video chip will pass on 32 nm technical process later. In this year TSMC will release video chip AMD and NVIDIA on 55 nm technology. | ||
