In August and September we reported about AMD plans to release 45 nm processors . Associate reports that with the passage on 45 nm technology the models number of phenom X4 will become five-digit.
Deneb processors socket AM2+ can appear already in the following block. In particular, Phenom X4 20550 (3.0 GHz) and Phenom X4 20350 (2.8 GHz) will support dual-channel DDR-2 memory , and a TDP level not more than 125 W, but the hyperTransport 3.0 bus frequency will be equal to 4.0 GHz DDR.
Deneb processor with 2.8 GHz frequency socket AM3 will support DDR 3-1333, it will appear in the first quarter 2009. Note that the TDP level for this processor is not established, but here is the model number is already available - processor will relate to the family phenom X4 20x00. Deneb processor with 3.0 GHz frequency socket AM3 according to our associates, will appear only in the second quarter 2009. Its TDP level will be equal to 125 W, and the model designation will relate to the same family phenom X4 20x00.
In the first quarter 2009 AMD will release one additional deneb processor socket AM3, whose frequency will be equal to 2.6 GHz, but TDP level will not exceed 95 W. It will also relate to the series phenom X4 20x00. At the same time AMD will present two four core processors phenom X4 16x00 (Propus) without cache in the third level. They will work at 2.6 and 2.8 GHz frequencies , but TDP value will not exceed 95 W.
The three core phenom X3 14x00 (Heka) and Phenom X3 12x00 (Rana) processors socket AM3 will appear in the second quarter 2009. They all will have a TDP level not more than 95 W, and support DDR 3-1333 memory , but the 6Mb cache in the third level will be only available to phenom X3 14x00 processors. The series phenom X3 12x00 without cache in the third level will appear in two models with 2.6 and 2.8 GHz frequencies.
