According to the data of associate, Seagate company decided to not wait until the exhibition CES 2010 and already presented officially HDD with thickness 7 mm.  Momentus thin HDD is made in the standard size 2,5 inches and are intended for mobile PC. Their thickness composes only 7 mm, 25% less than the thickness of usual HDD same standard size, equal to 9,5 mm. Two models are provided for production , which are distinguished by the volume: 160 and 250 GB. Those disks are equipped with 8 MB cache and with SATA 3 Gbit/s interfaces. The rotation speed is equal to 5400 rp/min. The deliveries of momentus thin along OEM channels will begin during January 2010. Related Products : | ||
