Yesterday we have published the review of processor core 2 Duo e6750 (2.66 GHz) with 1333 MHz system bus and 4 mb cache in the second level (Intel E6750 Review) .This processor will be put on the market on 22 July its wholesale price is 183$, and it will be based on G0 stepping , witch has good overclocking capability . The new processor core 2 Duo e6750 (2.66 GHz) interest only with their overclocking potential and energy consumption level . The 1333 MHz system bus ,as we checked yesterday, in the best case result in 1-2 % higher performance.  Let us recall, that all processors core 2 Duo e6xxx with 1066 MHz system bus will be removed from production in this year, and only in the first half of the following year as change will arrive the 45 nm processors wolfdale with 1066 MHz system bus. The energy consumption level in processors core 2 Duo with passage on G0 stepping  was reduced, but this do not affect the TDP value  . The model core 2 e6850 with default frequency 3.0 GHz will have TDP value not more than 65 W. The average overclock from all reviewer (as in our case ) was 3.6 GHz . In a word, overclock to frequency more than 3.6 GHz for the majority of core 2 Duo e6750 (2.66 GHz) copies will become standard. At least, engineering models are capable to reach such result. Some models with powerful cooler reached the frequency 3.8-4.0 GHz. It is important to note that processors G0 stepping  are good overclocker at default frequency , in some cases it was possible to reach frequencies 3.4 GHz or even 3.6 GHz with default vcore. If you use contemporary motherboard,  then even with overclock to 400 MHz on system bus , the processor core 2 Duo e6750 can work at frequency 3.2 GHz. It is important to consider that the prices of processors series core 2 Duo e6x50 will be relatively low: elder model with the multiplier 9x can be purchased for $266, and core 2 Duo e6750 will cost $183. Certainly, Those processor with 4 mb cache and overclocked to 3.6-3.8 GHz are capable to demonstrate serious speed.   Related Products :
