According to our associate , already from the beginning of October NVIDIA
will sell video card with directX 10 support and using the interface PCI express
2.0. Their present versions with PCI express 1.1 support will be also produced.
Update will touch the models GeForce 8500 GT, 8600 GT, 8600 GTS and 8800GTX. As you see, Nvidia forget about low-end accelerators geForce 8400/8300. Let us recall, that the main difference in PCI express 2.0 from PCI express
1.1 is the doubled capacity of each line - from 250 MB/s to 500 MB/s. Let us recall also, that the support of PCI express 2.0 will be realized in
motherboards , built on base of chipsets intel x38 express and AMD RD790. |
