At mid-year  must start sale of  laptops and compact systems based on hybrid processors from AMD generation Carrizo.  As you know, there will be two types of processors with a unified contact group.  This processor architecture Carrizo Excavator and models Carrizo-L architecture Puma +.  The last promise to surprise its low cost.   Production of processors generation Carrizo started a few weeks ago.  At CES 2015 appeared  first notebooks with serial processor architecture Carrizo Excavator (or later engineered copies).  AMD has continued to keep secret the specification of new products.  According to the site AnandTech, laptop platform APU AMD Carrizo decode H.265 video standard 4K resolution without any problem.  All work is carried out by integrated graphics processor.  Modern Intel platform simply can not do similar task without discrete graphic card.  The maximum from an integrated GPU Intel - up to 10 FPS for video decoding H.265.  Separately, we note that, when decoding video with a resolution of 4K processor generation Carrizo was loaded on 6.5%. As you can see, AMD is trying to stay in line with the trends.  Another thing is that the mobile AMD platform positioned as budget decisions or average price category with acceptable performance.  In laptops for such systems, no one will set the monitor with a resolution of 4K.  AMD also plans to promote the mobile platform with two graphics cards, one of which will be integrated, and the second will be discrete (Dual Graphics).   Decent integrated graphics from AMD allows to express themselves in the lower segment.  At CES 2015 appeared compact mini PC company Zotac.  The model Zotac PA330 is a new processor AMD APU A4-6400T class Mullins ( Puma +, like  Carrizo-L).  Processor running at 1 GHz base with automatic increase of up to 1.6 GHz.  The assembly has a TDP 4,5 watts.  Graphic system APU A4-6400T - Radeon R3 with 128 stream processors on the GCN 350 MHz.  External connection for monitors - mini DisplayPort. The volume of the device's memory is 2 GB.  Flash memory - such as eMMC 32GB volume.  Network capabilities mini-PC Zotac - is Wi-Fi 802.11ac up to support and port Gigabit Ethernet.   Related Products :
