ASRock released the motherboards 990FX Extreme3 and 970 Extreme3, compatible with AMD AM3 +.
The most interesting is 990FX Extreme3, built like Fatal1ty 990FX , on the same chipset. This motherboard supports processors with TDP up to 140 watts and it is equipped with three PCI Express x16 slots for installing multiple video cards (two GPU get 16 lines, and third graphics accelerator - only four) in CrossFireX mode or SLI.
ASRock 990FX Extreme3 is equipped with five ports SATA 6 Gb / s single slot PCI Express x1 and two PCI, supports DDR3 memory modules at up to 2100 MHz. There are two port USB 3.0, six USB 2.0, two PS / 2 ports and one eSATA, S / PDIF, RJ-45 and six audio connectors.
ASRock released also a new product Extreme3 based on chipset AMD 970. 970 equipped with a pair of PCI Express x16 slots ( 16 + 4), two slots PCI Express x1 and two 32-bit slots, PCI. ASRock 970 Extreme 3 does not support SLI GPU configuration. The layout of connectors on the interface panel of 970 Extreme3 is the same as elder model, but there two USB 2.0 ports less.
Both new ASRock motherboard already appeared in Europe: 990FX Extreme3 for 108,6 euros, 970 Extreme3 for 80,64 Euro.
