Processors AMD Ryzen Threadripper debut in mid-August. Colleagues from the WCCFTech site are trying to defuse the situation by publishing another summary on the mentions of the speed of the older 1950X model with 16 cores in databases of known synthetic benchmarks. They have recently added new entries. In particular, the 16-core Ryzen Threadripper on the previous 3.4 GHz frequency has progressed in terms of performance in the multi-core tasks of Geekbench 4.1.0, and it also improved performance
when working with memory.
In the SiSoftware Sandra test, this processor was generally noted at frequencies close to 4.0 GHz. At least, we can be sure that he is able to pass tests at this frequency, and this inspires some hope for a high potential for the 16-core model.
Finally, colleagues summarize their research on the formation of the AMD Ryzen Threadripper processor range and determine their expected characteristics.
There can be no doubt that such a publication will not be the last in the time remaining until the announcement of these processors.
