Today it became known that on May 8, NVIDIA will present a new entry-level graphics card based on the Pascal graphics processor, which will be the answer of the green company to the AMD Radeon RX 550 video card. This video card appears in the news under the names GeForce GT 1030, and now our Chinese colleagues Published a confirmation of its existence.
The EXPReview website published a photo of the NVIDIA GPU labeled GP108-300-A1, which is the smallest Pascal GPU. The figure "300" in the label means that it's likely that the photo shows a "stripped down" version of the GP108 GPU, since the full version would most likely have a marking GP108-400.
Also this GeForce GT 1030 was seen in the Ashes of the Singularity performance benchmark database, where it showed, to put it mildly, not the most impressive performance. Although, do not forget that this is an entry-level video card, and it will be unfair to demand high performance from it.
The GeForce GT 1030 graphics card will be for the moment be the only representative of the GT family among the GeForce 10 series graphics cards, as far as nothing is reported about the GeForce GT 1040, although it could be built on a full GP108. Related Products :
