Asus has expanded its line of compact computers VivoMini with two new models VC65 and VC65R. The device support up to four storage devices, and the manufacturer claims that this is the most compact PCs on the market accommodating many drives. Systems are versatile modular design, which implies the presence of the three drive bays and one optical drive (may be replaced by fourth drive).
The main difference between the new system lies in the fact that the model VivoMini VC65R has native support for RAID. Because of this it can be used as a mini-server or network storage (NAS). The rest of the new items have similar characteristics. VivoMini VC65R and VC65 can be equipped with processors Intel Core i5-6400T and Core i3-6100T, and from 4 to 16 GB of RAM DDR3L-1600. For data storage offered various combinations of hard disk capacity from 500 GB to 1 TB, and solid-state drives from 32 to 128 GB.
Also VivoMini VC65 and VC65R equipped with six ports USB 3.0, video output HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA, a pair of audio jacks, a memory card slot, a gigabit network adapter module and Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0.
