NVIDIA Jetson TX2 runs twice as fast as the first generation and is primarily targeted at developers of drones, robots, smart devices, cameras and other advanced compact devices.
The platform circuit board is comparable in size to the size of a conventional bank card, but at the same time it carries a rather powerful hardware filling on the base of NVIDIA Denver 2 and ARM Cortex-A57 cores. Built-in GPU generation Pascal is able to cope with the output of 4K-video with a frequency of up to 60 frames per second, is based on 256 CUDA cores and is equipped with eight gigabytes of LPDDR4 graphics memory. At the moment, the pre-order of the TX2 Developer Kit in the US and Europe is open at a price of $ 599, shipping of the first devices will begin on March 14. Deliveries of NVIDIA Jetson TX2 in the base configuration will begin even later, but at a price of $ 399.
